The sentiment of simply getting her a gift at all is heartwarming as it is, but seeing her shinki put forth the extra effort at appealing to her interests, it would be hard not to feel sentimental over it. Clearly there's a lot left unsaid here, if the crossed out words are any indication, but somehow this still feels like a big win in terms of communication between the both of them.
