Name: Saber (Mordred)
Canon: Fate/Apocrypha
Canon Point: Episode 16 of the anime
Age: Looks like a teenager but is actually a homunculus that's only a few years old.
History: http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Mordred

Personality:

Loudmouthed, rude and irritable, anyone meeting Mordred for the first time would be forgiven for thinking she was a thug instead of a Knight of the Round Table.
She lacks the courtly etiquette commonly associated with knights, having risen to the position through sheer martial prowess and dedication to the ideals of Camelot rather than flowery words and a noble upbringing. The plainspoken and at times disrespectful manner in which she engages with people can be off-putting for some. Hurting someone's feelings to get her point across is a non-issue for her if she believes the other person needs to hear what she has to say. Indeed Mordred is someone who isn't afraid to voice her opinions even in the face of hostility— after all, she would simply respond to aggression with aggression. She can be a difficult person to talk to because she is so easily irritated by a number of subjects, particularly those dealing with her father or her part in the rebellion against him.

Mordred is mentally younger than her appearance would suggest, being a homunculus whose age was accelerated. This leads her to have some childlike qualities, mainly stubbornness and impatience but also curiosity. Long-winded explanations tend to bore or annoy her and she absolutely dislikes being idle. Mordred gets moody (more-so than usual) if she's bored, and will complain until she finds some way to entertain herself. If she doesn't get her way she's not above sulking or throwing a tantrum.

As a homunculus, Mordred is keenly aware of the difference between herself and regular people. It would be easy for her to feel like an outcast because of it, but as the child of the perfect king, she's chosen to look at her inhuman nature as a symbol of her superiority over humans.
It's not like she doesn't dislike them already, in fact, she will readily admit to hating them. From her perspective, humans are greedy and capricious creatures, only slightly more intelligent animals but animals nonetheless. They forget debts but never grudges. They do good when it's convenient but ignore great evil when it's troublesome for them— all things she witnessed during her father's reign.
Following her father's example, Mordred believes that the ideal king must stand apart from his subjects; he must look after them but he doesn't have to love them.
In spite of her generally negative opinion of humans and her naturally combative demeanor, Mordred is still a knight at her core. She will still protect people or at the very least be mindful of their presence during battle so as to avoid collateral damage.

There are few things Mordred enjoys more than a fight and she's earned a fearsome reputation as a merciless warrior, striking down any opponent without hesitation that she believed to be her enemy. A battle is the one place where Mordred feels most at home; she even believes that violence is the best way to clear a troubled mind. She has a very pragmatic outlook on combat despite being a knight. For Mordred, swordsmanship is just one path to victory; she'd punch, kick and bite her enemy if she thought it would give her an edge. It should also be noted that while Mordred takes great pleasure in decimating her foes, she never treats battle as a game or displays excessive cruelty toward opponents.

It wouldn't be unfair to assume that violence is the only form of communication she understands but the truth is that Mordred simply doesn't know how to engage with other people in a truly meaningful way. She was isolated from the moment of birth and due to her accelerated growth rate there was no way for her to form any relationships with her peers— there was no one else like her after all. Even her mother, Morgan, showed her no affection. The fact that her mother didn't think of her as a precious child, but merely a tool of petty revenge against the sister she hated and envied so much, is not lost on Mordred. Even becoming a Knight of the Round Table didn't change anything since she was instructed by her mother to never remove her helm in the presence of others in order to conceal her lineage. Naturally, that alone would make it difficult for anyone to trust her but coupled with Mordred's own desire to imitate King Arthur, who only engaged with his subjects on matters of state, made it all but impossible for her to form a bond with anyone.
Her only notable exchanges were found on the battlefield; mutual hatred and the intent to kill one another being the one thing she had in common with her enemies. Something she could easily understand and relate to.
At the time Mordred didn't even think it was strange to be such a solitary figure— a view which she has only recently started to question in her present incarnation as a Servant.

Mordred might not seem like the friendliest person at first but once she warms up to someone she does show a more affable side. She has a good, if somewhat childish, sense of humor. Even just imagining silly things like what her Master's child would look like (a baby with his head and wearing sunglasses) makes her crack up. She's amazed by how much she enjoys engaging in pointless chit-chat and learning about other people by simply speaking to them—a luxury she'd never indulged in when she was alive. Even more surprising to her is how that simple act can allow you to understand someone better— she even starts to wonder if things would have been different if she had been able to have pointless conversations with her father.

She does have a compassionate side, but as someone who never received any compassion in life, it should come as no surprise that she has difficulty expressing it openly. Once, after seeing a vision of her Master's tragic past, she calls it stupid while simultaneously refusing to leave his side. He even thinks she's behaving strangely but appreciates her clumsy gesture nonetheless.
Despite her infamy as The Knight of Treachery who ended King Arthur's legend, Mordred displays surprising loyalty to those who've earned her trust. During the final stages of the Holy Grail War, she's given two opportunities to abandon her Master and fulfill her wish. First, whilst on the verge of death, she's offered a place in the enemy ranks in exchange for betraying and killing her Master— which she refuses. The second time, after her Master is mortally wounded he tells her she still has a chance to fulfill her wish by forming a contract with a different mage from their side. She refuses, content to sit with him as he dies, knowing full well that she will also fade away soon after.

To say Mordred enjoys eating would probably be a gross understatement. Much like her father, she has a voracious appetite despite being a Servant who doesn't require nourishment at all. She claims that eating is her hobby and the sheer variety of things to eat is one of her favorite things about the modern era. Most people are astounded by just how much she can consume in a single sitting, eating enough for three or four people without slowing down. People sharing a meal with Mordred at a restaurant should be certain to bring plenty of money— as someone destined to be king someday she's entitled to eat as much as she pleases so someone else will have to foot the bill.

Mordred's complicated relationship with her father, King Arthur, is at the core of everything she believes and the driving force behind her actions. Merely thinking of Arthur's emotionless rejection of her makes her furious, allowing her to justify her rebellion. Then there are times when she remembers his wisdom and accomplishments, making her proud to be his son. Whether Mordred truly despises or loves her father is difficult to determine, as it seems that her own feelings on the subject are conflicted. In one moment she can openly and without hesitation declare her hatred of the King of Knights and then subsequently express tremendous admiration for him. Ironically it irritates her when others praise the king and yet she wouldn't hesitate to decapitate anyone who slanders him.
The truth is that Mordred desperately craves the approval of Arthur. Her wish for the Holy Grail is to challenge the Sword of Selection as her father once did. While she could simply wish to be king, Mordred believes that only once she draws the sword from the stone will her father recognize her as his son and worthy heir.

Some may find it strange that Mordred refers to herself as the “son” of King Arthur. Much like Arthur, who in reality was a woman secretly raised as a man, Mordred too was raised as a male for the purpose of inheriting the throne. Even her armor was designed to deliberately obscure her femininity. She reacts violently to anyone who treats her as a woman and would do the same to anyone who bluntly calls her a man. But it isn't her femininity that upsets Mordred but the implications it has on her claim to the throne. In the end, the station of the king is that of a man, so she must treat herself as one in order for her claim to be valid.

She never once entertains the thought that she'll be unable to draw the sword, treating it as a foregone conclusion since she is the son of the perfect king. Indeed being the child of King Arthur is a source of immense confidence for Mordred. She judges every obstacle against her father's strength and truly believes she can overcome anything because she is the only person who could surpass Arthur. Her great courage and willingness to leap into any danger are born from that same confidence.
Unfortunately, this also means that she doesn't cope well with failure and treats it as an insult to her father. She will either continuously try to succeed at whatever she failed at or if it was an enemy who bested her in combat, she will hold a grudge against that person until she has another opportunity to strike them down.

Abilities:

Mordred is a Servant— a Heroic Spirit summoned to participate in a bloody conflict called the Holy Grail War. Despite commonly being human in appearance, a Servant is many times stronger and more durable than any human. They are brought into the world with just enough knowledge to blend into the era they're summoned into. The knowledge is more like a studied understanding of the world rather than one gained through experience so the Servant may still need certain concepts explained to them.

Since Servant's are beings made up entirely of magical energy they require a steady supply to remain in a physical form. If a Servant runs low on mana they have to conserve energy by taking on a spiritual form. In this form they become completely invisible and intangible, allowing them to walk through most obstacles such as walls with ease. While they are aware of their surroundings they cannot physically interact with the world around them. Because it takes considerably less mana to remain in spiritual form, most Master's prefer that their Servant save energy by staying in spiritual form. However, Mordred really dislikes being in spiritual form since not having any physical presence makes her uneasy.

Every Servant has a Spiritual Core that's linked to their head and heart which serves the same function as a vital organ. If the core is destroyed or runs out of magical energy then the Servant will effectively die.
Since there are other Servant's in the game already I will assume that mana is supplied by their gods or by some other means.

All of a Servant's attributes, skills, and Noble Phantasms are ranked on a scale of EX to E, with EX being the absolute best and E being the worst. The (+) symbol next to any rank indicates the possibility that the rank may temporarily double under certain circumstances, while a (-) means that the rank is in constant danger of falling.
There are five attributes that govern a Servant's base combat ability: Strength, Endurance, Agility, Mana, and Luck.

Strength represents physical might and power. Endurance is the Servant's ability to withstand damage. Agility is reaction speed. Mana governs how much magical energy the Servant is capable of wielding. Finally, Luck is simply that: how lucky the Servant is.

Mordred's attributes are:

Strength: B+
Endurance: A
Agility: B
Mana: B
Luck: D

Instinct:

Allows Mordred to ascertain the most optimal course of action during a fight. With this, she's able to instantly read an opponent's intentions and predict the trajectory of their movements and act accordingly. Instinct also allows her to avoid projectiles as she can quickly determine their trajectory, especially when combined with the speed granted by her Mana Burst skill. An additional effect of Instinct is that it allows her to halve the penalties for visual and auditory interference, such as trying to see through dense fog or hear something over a crowd of cheering people.

Mana Burst:

An ability Mordred inherited from her father. It allows her to quickly reinforce her body and weapons with magical energy in order to strengthen them. This skill is what allows Mordred to hit harder than her small stature would otherwise suggest. The “burst” part of the skill refers to the ability to instantly expel the collected mana, creating an explosion of energy that she uses to knock away opponents or strike with blinding speed. Mordred also uses it propel herself around the battlefield making her quickly able to cover the distance between her and her foes.

Battle Continuation:

Coupled with her high Endurance stat this is what gives Mordred her incredible durability. She is shown to be able to absorb powerful strikes without sustaining any damage at all. Even when she's hit with attacks that should be lethal, she is shown to continue to stubbornly fight on in spite of any damage she's received. During the first major clash of the Great Holy Grail War, Mordred goes toe to toe with Berserker and Saber of Black respectively. She survives both of their extraordinarily high damage Noble Phantasms and, though heavily injured, still displays a willingness to fight. She even gets stabbed in the back once and doesn't even flinch.

Charisma:

This skill describes Mordred's latent talent to gain the trust of warriors and command an army. This skill represents her act of raising an army in open rebellion against her father. It was rarely used during her role as a Servant in the Great Holy Grail War since she and her Master operated independently from both sides during the conflict.

Magic Resistance:

What it says on the tin. It makes Mordred a little more resilient against magic. For the purposes of the Far Shore, I'll be treating any magic of the Heavens as being so potent that this won't have much of an effect.

Riding:

This gives Mordred the innate understanding and skills required to pilot, ride or drive any vehicle or beast. Her rank in this skill doesn't let her ride any monstrous creatures such as dragons, unicorns, hippogryphs, etc.

Secret of Pedigree:

A helm which conceals Mordred's identity. Rather than merely obscuring her face like a regular helm, it also provides a form of mental interference which obscures all information related to her identity which makes it difficult for people to deduce her true name, personal skills or Noble Phantasms. However, once any of this information has been disclosed to someone the helm will no longer have an effect on them.
The helm also forms part of Mordred's suit of armor which was enchanted by her mother, granting it considerable durability. Mordred is considered to always be wearing it even if she's walking around with her casual clothing. To negate the abilities of the helmet, it must be removed during battle and that's accomplished but Mordred making a conscious decision to reveal her identity. Once removed it collapses into her armor and unlocks the use of Clarent Blood Arthur.

Clarent the Radiant and Brilliant Royal Sword:

Mordred's greatsword and her favored weapon. Being a symbol of the succession of kings, the sword confers a bonus to the wielder's Charisma. However, since Mordred was never acknowledged as the king's heir the bonus doesn't apply to her. The sword acts as a conduit and amplifier for Mordred's Mana Burst skill, allowing her to channel mana into the sword to project beams of energy.

Clarent Blood Arthur (Rebellion Against My Beautiful Father):

The released form of Clarent is described as a demonic sword of calamity. As long as Secret of Pedigree is active she's unable to use this technique. Upon release it allows Mordred to pour her hatred and magical energy into her sword and release it as a gigantic beam of cataclysmic force. Anything standing in the path of the beam is likely to be incinerated in moments. Despite being her most powerful Noble Phantasm, Mordred is mindful that the attack has a wide area of effect and avoids using it in confined and populated areas to avoid unnecessary loss of life and collateral damage. Of course, an attack with such destructive force requires a great deal of magical energy to use, usually provided by her Master, so it's not something she can fire continuously.

Strengths: Courageous. Unyielding. Ambitious. Self-assured. Loyal.
Weaknesses: Impatient. Irritable. Aggressive. Haughty. Childish.

God/Shinki: Shinki
Why?: She already has a superiority complex from being the son of King Arthur, she doesn't need the ego boost of being a god too. I also think it'd be interesting to see what goals she'll strive for without the memory of wanting to be king.
Cause Of Death: Her god will see her death at the Battle of Camlann. (Skewered with Rhongomyniad after being rebuked by her father.)
Vessel: A suit of armor
Name Location: Back of her neck.
Power: In her vessel form she will confer an ability similar to her Mana Burst upon the wielder. Her god will be able to reinforce their body against damage or release the stored energy for a burst of super speed.

If possible could she be paired with Yuna Yuki as her god? I've already discussed it with her player.
