[Leading up to Christmas day, Yuna's been making arrangements to brighten up the temple and make it ~festive~, including a modestly-sized Christmas tree festooned with white, shimmering garland and a few cheery ornaments. Once Christmas morning rolls around, a few wrapped presents have been left under it for Mordred.
One package contains two photo frames that have been decorated in various pressed flowers, one of which has been left empty as if to encourage Mordred to find a photo she'd like to display in it, and the other contains a photo Yuna managed to snap on her phone of the two of them during their trip to Capypa land. A smaller box contains a cute cat shaped charm for her phone that Yuna thought she might enjoy.
The dinning area of the temple also has a small assortment of botamochi for the two of them to snack on after gifts are exchanged, and, however they end up spending the day, there will be a Christmas cake ready for them to finish the day off with when they get home.]
[ Mordred is going about her usual morning business when she notices the packages under the tree. ]
Huh, why's my name on these?
[ Did Yuna leave these for her? She looks around to see if her Goddess or Hana are nearby before tearing through the wrapping. The contents are... surprising. ]
Picture frames? What kind of lame—
[ Oh wait, there's a picture in one... Mordred lips spread in a genuinely happy smile. It's not a face she'd recognize if she had to look at herself in the mirror right now. ]
Heh, so you want me to remember dumb stuff like this? Good grief.
[ Despite her words she's obviously very grateful to have received a present like this. It's not a gift she would show off to anyone else but something she would cherish for as long as she can.

Mordred hurries off to retrieve them and comes barging into Yuna's room shortly after with a plushie and card held behind her back. ]
[The gifts Yuna had prepared were snuck carefully under the tree so early in the morning, her plan had been to go back to bed for a little longer after they had been taken care of, but by the time Mordred comes around to check on her, she's about done getting ready for the day.
That is, Mordred catches her right in the middle of pulling on a festive Santa hat.]
Oh-! [You startled her!! But she quickly brushes it off with a bright grin.] Merry Christmas! Are you ready for the day?
[She may have a spare hat for Mordred. You know. Just in case she wants it. We'll see.
However, if there was any doubt that Yuna would be appreciative of the gifts, hopefully the way her face absolutely lights up upon seeing them is enough to put those worries to rest.]
Oh my gosh-! You got this for me? [The plush is so cute, so round, so soft...! She'll gladly take it into her arms, holding it close so that she can free up her hands to open up the card and read it right away.]
[ While she didn't expect Yuna to dislike the gift, there was always the possibility that she wouldn't be thrilled with it either— It is, after all, a fairly cheap plushie. That's why seeing Yuna's excitement is encouraging for Mordred.
The card has a flower she may or may not have pilfered from some nature god's garden clumsily pressed onto the front. The writing inside isn't the neatest but it's legible at least, though a number of phrases seem to have been written down only to be scribbled out leaving just "Merry Christmas Yuna. From Mor Saber" near the bottom. ]
Err... You can just throw that away when you're done.
[Such an earnest attempt at making something Mordred knows that she'd appreciate... The sentiment of simply getting her a gift at all is heartwarming as it is, but seeing her shinki put forth the extra effort at appealing to her interests, it would be hard not to feel sentimental over it. Clearly there's a lot left unsaid here, if the crossed out words are any indication, but somehow this still feels like a big win in terms of communication between the both of them. She's going to treat it as such.]
